Signing Your Scorecard

Forgetting to sign your scorecard is something that we are all capable of doing now and then. Unfortunately it is a mandatory disqualification under rule 3.3b(2).

In today’s Monday Club competition (13th Jan) there were 5 players who forgot to sign their scorecards. In addition to that another player submitted scores … but had not paid his competition fee. A total of 6 disqualifications in one competition … that is the most that I have ever had to DQ in a Singles competition.

Congratulations to the prize winners today … that did sign their scorecards …. and in particular to Neil Harris who quietly returned a two on the 8th hole and subsequently took the Two’s pot all to himself.
