Fees and prize money explained

(1) Monday Club and Monthly Aggregate Stabelford
Entry fees: The charge is £4 for the Monday Club and the Monthly Aggregate Stableford (last Thursday in the month) This includes free entry for the Two’s competition.
(2) Prize money for the Monday Club and Monthly Aggregate is calculated as follows

The value of individual prize vouchers is determined by the numbers entering the competition and the total entry fees collected.
(3) Summer Series competitions
Entry fee: One-off £3 fee to enter each series Notes
Singles Knockout (£3 entry fee) Random draw made in March.

Aggregate Stableford (£3 entry fee)

(Best 4 scores from 6 rounds)

Each round is played on the last Thursday in each month.  The round is an individual competition that any Senior can enter even if they are not signed up for the series – £4 entry fee.

Aggregate Medal (£3 entry fee) Played on the first Monday each month.  The best 4 scores from 6 are counted.
Eclectic scores are taken from the monthly summer  Aggregate Stableford (£3 entry fee) The fewest strokes for each hole. Results are calculated applying 50% of your course handicap.
Championships (£3 entry fee)

The competition is divided into:

  • Seniors (55-69) Gross & Nett scores
  • Veterans (70>) Gross & Nett scores

Played over two rounds

Order of Merit (£3 entry fee)

The competition is a format that recognises and rewards golfers who have performed well throughout the golfing season. Points are awarded for finishing in the top ten of any of the competitions shown in the table below. Five points will also be awarded for each player who enters each of these competitions. This will be a Seniors only event.

The Winter Order of Merit will from October to March and will take into account the following competitions organised by the Seniors, both qualifiers and non-qualifiers.

All other placings are  awarded 5 points for entering.

(4) Winter Series (from September to March)
Entry fee: One-off £3 fee to enter each series Notes
Pairs Knockout (£3 entry fee) Random draw made in September. Winners from the previous year defend their title.
