My Captain away day will take place on the 17th July 2025 at Thonock park Golf Club
Thonock Park is situated in Gainsborough and maybe known to some for its connection to Ping. It situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside has two stunning 18 holes courses complimented with a modern clubhouse.

Travel time is approximately one hour from Ramsdale at just under 37 miles

The event will take place on the Par 72 Karsten Lakes Course, as the name suggests there are several water hazards and features to challenge all.

Please note: As the event is a shotgun start places are limited to 80 players

The day will commence with a full English breakfast before commencing to your tee for a shotgun start.

The actual start time will be 10:30 am with breakfast serving from 9:30am, you will be asked to make way to your specified tee no later than 10:15am

After round completion and cards submitted, you will be invited to a buffet carvery followed by presentations of numerous prizes based on –

Competition placings
Nearest the pins
Longest drives
Beat the pro
Charity raffle

The event cost is £65 per player
Reservation is £10 per player
Balance due by 16th June 2025

Payment can be made (card only) via the Monday club payment desk or Seniors section committee members 

Notes:

Thonock Park GC only has 8 buggies for hire, currently at £30, book directly with the Pro Shop – (01427 613088).  Private buggies are allowed only with prior proof of insurance to the Thonock Park GC
