Rules – For two players
This is a Stableford competition for a team of two players.
Handicap adjustments: To determine the handicap of your team, the mandatory WHS handicap allowances apply:(opens in a new window)
Lowest course handicap X 60%
Highest course handicap X 40%
(This competition is on Master Scoreboard and handicaps are calculated automatically)
Player 1 = 15 X 60% = 9.0
Player 2 = 21 X 40% = 8.4
Simply add both playing handicaps together: –
9.0
8.4
17.4 (rounded = 17)
Both players tee off and then choose which ball to play from there. The player whose drive or tee shot is not chosen plays the second shot, then play alternate shots from there until the ball is holed out. On the next hole, both players again tee off and the process is repeated.
Note: If a provisional shot is required, please note your partner has take that shot.
Note: Each player must have a minimum of 7 drives (yes, it is unusual!).
All Rules of Golf to apply. It is not acceptable to waive a Rule of Golf e.g. recording gross scores, handicap recorded, markers signature, players signature etc.
