Minutes of meeting held 11th October 2022 13:00 hrs

 

  1. Meeting Opened
    • The meeting opened at 13:00
  2. Apologies
    • All members present.

 

  1. Minutes of the last meeting
    • No matters arising, minutes passed as a true record.

 

  1. Correspondence
    • Rufford have said they cannot accept Ramsdale Seniors for the coming season.
  2. Finance report
    • The match shirt situation has been fully reconciled.
    • The finance report was read out and it was agreed that this  was a true record.

 

  1. Captains report
    • The Senior Captains car parking space is now designated complete with the sign erected.
    • Dates for our matches for 2023 are nearly complete, these are in the diary and will be updated as early as possible.
    • In 2023 the food cost are likely to rise, possibly quite high, in order to help off-set these costs the Seniors Section agreed to subsidise the matches as necessary.
    • Main club have updated the competition rules, Seniors Section will be updated in line with this.
  2. Competition Secretary’s report
    • All summer competitions have now been completed. Vouchers will be issued for presentation purposes, they will then be destroyed.
    • The seniors team competition ‘s can now accommodate Cha-Cha-Cha, team stableford and Texas scramble due to our handicap system now being able to recognise 3 person teams.
    • Christmas Monday club to take place on Monday 19th December, it will be £20 per person .Sub Committee to finalise all the details.
    • It was agreed that the coffee and bacon roll will continue, at least for the winter season for those playing in the aggregate competition, a ticket will be issued on the day to participants, this way will only pay for what we have.
