Introduction

My away day will take place on the 17th July 2025 at Thonock Park Golf Club (opens in a new window). and maybe known to some for its connection to Ping. Thonock Park is situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside near Gainsborough, and is approximately one hour drive from Ramsdale (just under 37 miles). The course has two stunning 18 holes courses complimented with a modern clubhouse..

The event will take place on the Par 72 Karsten Lakes Course, and as the name suggests there are several water hazards and features to challenge all.

Thonock Park only has 8 buggies for hire, currently at £30, book directly with the Pro Shop (01427 613088). Private buggies are allowed only with prior proof of insurance to the Thonock Park GC.

Note:

The entry fee is £65 per player

Registration is via the Seniors website only

Reservation is £10 per player – (payment please from the 1 April)

Balance due by 16th June 2025

Payment can be made via the Monday club payment desk or Seniors section committee members

Catering Arrangements

The day will commence with a full English breakfast served from 9:30 am. And after completion of the event, when all cards are submitted, you will be invited to a buffet carvery (Vegetarian options available with prior notice).

Format

This event is a shotgun start and it is important that everyone arrives at their allocated tee no later than 10:15 ready to tee off at 10:30.
