Minutes of Seniors Meeting

 

Minutes of previous meeting:

  1. Minutes accepted as a true record

Matters arising from minutes:

  1. Captain’ Away Day – there is a possibility of a full refund if lockdown occurs or we could have a possible change of date.
  2. Prize vouchers issued in 2020 will be valid until the end of 2021.
  3. Monday Club – some bookings outside of the allocated tee timings will be allowed to compete

Finance Report:

  1. I am a little confused while writing this Financial report.
  2. I have an income of £90 and expenditure of £35, which I believe is for March. Overall income for the year is £328 and expenditure of £542, which gives us a deficit of £214.
  3. We have either an overall balance of £6370.31 or £5911.42 (my bad).

Monday Club report:

  1. We must sign in using the Master Scoreboard app, either for General Play or for the applicable competition.
  2. When entering scores for Stapleford comps, when you cannot score points, enter a score of 2 over bogey. When entering a possible of NR in a Medal comp, enter a score of 0, otherwise the whole card will be invalidated.

 

Competitions:

  1. All Seniors competitions will be off the Yellow tees.
  2. Competition fees are to be paid to Steve Duty in one go, for however many comps each person enters.
  3. .

Prizes:

  1. There is nothing to report at present.

 

AOB:

  1. Captain’s Away Day – needs mentioning on the website. It is scheduled to take place on Friday 23rd July at the Erewash Valley GC. It will cost £44 per person which includes a bacon cobb and coffee on arrival with a two course meal afterwards
  2. Notice from the Main Club – a sponsor (Seniors Section) for their charity day on the 17th Insurance for a hole-in-one would cost approximately £270. We need to check with Brian Bailey on this matter.
  3. The Seniors committee need another member and suggestion are needed
