Minutes of Seniors Meeting

12th July 2021

  1. Minutes accepted as a true record

Matters arising from minutes:

  1. Stuart Murry is still this year’s vice-captain.
  2. With regard to the Seniors’ match shirt, only a designated number of members will receive the designated rate, not all Seniors.
  3. ‘Pandemic’ will be placed on all the Honours boards for the year 2020.

 

Finance Report:

  1. The amount of monies in is £545, the amount of outlay is £1002.98 and out balance to date is £7442.85.

Monday Club report:

  1. Voucher being issued are not working out as originally planned in the present format. This will revert to the original of David Dandie to issue them.

 

Competitions:

  1. Nothing to be said at this time.

 

Prizes:

  1. The Winter Pairs has been completed and Stuart Murray and Mike Keeton beat Doug Barber and Phil Rankin.
  2. A review of the Singles and Winter Pairs format is to be looked at. Substitution up until the quarter finals only needs to be changed and David Costin needs to be involved.

 

AOB:

  1. Two new clubs are to be added to our Club Match Competitions – Sleaford and Belton Park.
  2. Sleaford has invited us to play a match on the 01st
  3. Belton Park has asked for a friendly to be played on Friday 05th August at 1400, a team of 12 players.
  4. We need to check with Theresa for two new competitions to be added to the club schedule.
  5. We received and email from Ruddington for next year – 18th May 2022 home match and 02nd August 2022 for an away match.
  6. The Captain’s Away-day – all have paid their fees and all that is needed it to choose the meal.
  7. Re-introduction of the white board for the Monday Club along with the 2’s competition. This will not happen on the 19th July though.
