Minutes of meeting held 13th September 2022 13:00 hrs

  3. Correspondence
    1. None
  4. Finance report
    1. The finance report was presented by the treasurer, the finances are in good order and were accepted.
    2. Invoice from HandicapMaster was presented for the renewal of the licence for the social edition, this was agreed to be paid.
  5. Captains report
    1. Ruddington GC are now, sadly, no longer on our inter club fixture list. Oakmere GC are now part of our fixtures and dates have now been agreed for 2023.
    2. Date and venue for vice captains (Captain 2023) day have now been arranged, it is on Thursday 13th July at Kirby Muxloe GC, Leics.

6. Competition Secretary’s report

    1. David Costin reported that there had been an oversight for the singles competition for this year, in that a member had played when he had not acquired the criteria to play in this knock-out. This player had now been removed from the competition and the competition is now in the process of being partly replayed by the affected members. David apologised for this oversight and procedures will be put in place that will make sure that it does not happen again.
    2. The main club has updated the competition rules for all Honours board competitions .The updated rules are on the main club website.
    3. The Ryder Cup (Par 3 vs Seniors) will take place on Thursday 6th
    4. The Par 3 Challenge will take place on Friday 7th
    5. Seniors presentation day will be held on Monday 24th A nine-hole competition to be held followed by the Trophy presentation and a free meal.

    1. The centre Manager has informed us that there is, or very soon will be, a defibrillator that will be on a dedicated buggy that can be dispatched as and when an emergency occurs.
