Minutes of Monthly Seniors Meeting
11th June 2018
Present: David Costin, David Dandie, Keith Hepworth, Mike Jefferies, Patrick McDonough

Minutes
1. Minutes of the last meeting.
The minutes of the meeting of the 14 May were accepted as a true record.
2. Matters arising from the minutes.
There were no matters arising which would not be covered as an agenda item.
Item 8. David Dandie detected that there was not sufficient enthusiasm at the moment to go ahead and order new team shirts.
Item 9.1: David Costin reported that a Ramsdale Seniors email was available to give to opposing team Captains in order that they can contact the reigning Captain.
Item: Mike Jefferies as yet to give a cheque for £242 to the Main Club for insuring the possible hole-in-one on Charity Day.
Item 9.3 Mike Jefferies reported that the cost of providing plants for the floral display at the main entrance is £175.60. Mike is to see the Centre Manager to discuss erecting a sign.
3. Finance report.
Mike Jefferies informed the Committee that there is nothing to add to the comprehensive finance report given at the last meeting.
4. Monday Club
David Dandie reported that there has been a significant increase in attendances over the last few weeks.
5. Competitions.
David Costin gave an update on current and future competitions:
- The singles knockout, with a few exceptions is running to schedule.
- The notice has been posted for the Seniors Championships.
6. Prizes and trophies.
- The Ladies Tom Checkley trophy has been returned to the cabinet and needs engraving with Cath Greenwood’s name.
- Prizes need allocating for the winners of the Winter Aggregate Stableford.
