Minutes accepted as a true record.
Matters arising from minutes:
The new treasurer of Christine West has been accepted. Mike Jefferies will still be Treasurer until the AGM.
Matches against Mapperley will be played once a year in April. Matches against Burleigh will be played once a year, for 2020 it will be the 14th May.
Christmas Club – people need to indicate the meal they want on the sheet provided. Collecting of match fees will be starting next week.
Order of Merit – only three points for attending matches against other clubs; we will consider additional points for wins and ties in 2021, maybe.
No names to be added to the Memorial Cup this year.
Finance Report:
There was nothing to report at this time.
Monday Club report:
Nothing to report at this time due to the poor weather experienced recently.
Competitions:
The Pairs matches will be extended to the end of December, due to the weather again.
Texas Scramble – No maximum of 6.
Bookings for Monday Club will be available on the computer in the new year – pre-set times will be available for members. A cut off time will be either Thursday for Friday before the match. This is so that a print out of names can be produced. The person booking the times can add additional members, also members can add their name to any open space in the rota. We will open bookings 2 weeks before – on Monday morning at 1000. We will close for bookings on the Friday before.
Prizes and Trophies
There are still four voucher prizes to be handed out from the Presentation Evening.
AOB
1. It is the Seniors Captain’s choice for The Player of the Year.
2. Vouchers will be accepted as payment for Monday Christmas Club.
3. The Presentation Evening: A discussion took place to move the event to the Monday Christmas Club, where we have most members collected.
4. In place of the Presentation Evening in October there might be a social evening during the summer.
5. Match on the 12th December – 16 ladies and 16 men – playing 9 holes on the main course and 9 holes on the par 3.
