Senior Captain’s Away Day

Good afternoon all and firstly can I say it was great to see you all at Sitwell Park yesterday, your attendance was very much appreciated, and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. I’d like to thank you for the many kind messages I’ve received, which really means a lot. Also I’d like to acknowledge the generosity of you all, both on the day and those who provided sponsorship and raffle prizes. As you’ll appreciate a day like that doesn’t organise itself, and I certainly can’t take all the credit, so I’d like to reiterate my thanks to the numerous people that helped in the planning and implementation, as well as on the day, so thanks to David Costin, Richard, David and Sharon Insley, Mark and Jo Fisher, Kelvin and Joy Day, and of course Bev. Finally, I can’t sign off without mentioning that having totted everything up, yesterday raised just over £2,500 for the Charity, which is all down to you.
